Yep , my understanding is that James is not building boards under the Kinetic brand any longer but is building boards for .other brands. Mistral and Jimmy Lewis SUP's are 2 I know of.
That's a shame, the Kinetic Gladiator was a great board, I had a very good run out of mine.
