It looks like for some reason the BOM have stopped over-estimating the wind speed, so Sunday might be OK, if it comes up then I'll see you there.

The guru has his doubts about Sunday though. By the pricking of my thumbs, there's a slight chance of a northerly seabreeze today, believe it or not *crosses toes*

According to the BOM, Monday afternoon is looking good with the SE change pushing through. fingers crossed

The alley tomorrow arvo?

Looking at the tide it's pretty even all day, the difference between high and low is almost nothing, so not much current in the waterways.

Just depends when it comes in I guess.

At the moment Tuesday is looking to be the pick of the week though, will be thinking of shearwater then... but we all know what forecasts are like when compared to reality!

Wind's up at Byron, should be sailable at the alley by 3pm (qld time). Fingers crossed for a bit of SE!

I've never seen someone do the triathlon twice in the one day before...

Took some pictures at the alley today, a couple of sets rolled in after I'd packed the camera away so these are a fair bit smaller than the biggest on offer. Yeah well that's my excuse anyway.

Lovely conditions, just right for a wave neophyte like me to get the feeling of catching a wave without worrying about snapping masts. Made sure that MD74 kept his distance as well

Shared a couple of waves with some other windsurfers, that's such an excellent feeling, keeping a lookout for what they're doing while sharing the stoke...

went out at narrow neck for a 2 hour session was actually really good i was supprised some really nice ramps not so much wave riding but yer narrow neck deliverd.
