Just wondering how many Kyeemagh sailors are here... Looks like Satruday is the pick this weekend...

I couldn't make it last weekend, I decided to accidently kick the coffee table instead on Aus day. Consequently, my 4th toe is purple now

I'm here, but I'm not there, or can't be, but I want to be there, but not this weekend.

Funny listening to all the WA mob whingeing about no wind, when Sydney seems to have had the best January for yonks.

I'm off the water for 4-6weeks, & it ****s me seeing those green arrows on the graphs

If my wife lets me I'll be there with a mate!
Bummer wineman and shear tip, I broke a toe not too long ago but I'll be damned if I'm letting that stop me getting out. I just tape it to the next one along and grit my teeth. I'll make sure I sail an EXTRA long time for both of you

Last w'end was epic, a solid NE'r following by a honking southerly. Today was pretty average. Looking forward to Fri/Sat.

Wineman and Shear tip, now remember tape it to the toe next to the buggered on the "same foot"
Makes sailing a lot easier and safer
Yep am parked up compound fracture big toe (windsurfing) two weeks to go before I can play again.

Hi all,

I'll be there Sat late if I can get out. Come up and have a chat if you see me. By the looks of the forecast I'll be out on a JP RWW with my 5.6 Orange and Yellow Gaastra Remedy.

I sail there if it's flat, but it's the wave comp in Gerroa so I'm there instead.

Did anyone see Alison Sheevre on TV sailing at Kyeemagh - about 3 weeks ago?

Due to missing out on last weekend, I cancelled a family Sunday lunch in case it was windy. Now look at the graphs. My wife and I are out on saturday with friends for lunch and then a farewell for someone who's off to London to live. Arrrgh! How do I show her the forecast graph for Saturday?

BTW, my toe's a little less purple today and I can put weight on it now. Woohoo! Last saturday I had the board on the back lawn and I was practicing gybe footwork to see if I would be able to get out in that southerly. I even loosened the straps heaps so I wouldn't bump my toe on the way in. When I got town to the bay & it was gusting over 35kts I knew that i wouldn't be sailing that day. I could barely walk over the road anyway.

So this weekend - strap the toe, do some very fast talking to my wife & head out to the bay!

If it's 15-25kts I'll be on my NP Diablo 6.7 (the only one out there still with a shear tip). Any stronger and I'll be out on my even older KA 5.0 slalom (the only one out there still with a turban tip). Either way, I'll be on my only board, a white Caveman slalom. The only board still less than 100cm wide.

shear tip, I'm a regular. Twice a week if I'm lucky.

Do you show your wife the graph. No, you do much better than that. You give the web-site address and tell her to always check for green arrows before arranging your social calendar.

I was down there when Alison Shreeve was training around Xmas time at Kyeemagh. She was rigging big 7.0+ formula sails when everyone else was on 5.5's.

Heh, I might even make it her home page...[}:)]

Twice a week! Do you get down after work? I don't get home until just before 7:00. I'm only 10 mins from kyeemagh, so I guess I could be on the water by 7:30, but with sunset at 8? I don't think it's gonna happen dangit.
