Hello, has anyone ever sailed on Lake Gnagarra in the perth norhtern suburbs?(it's a fresh water lake, fed from the Gnagarra water mound). I heard of a guy that was on the circuit and use to go there to have the lake to himself for testing gear. In the wetter months it's huge so I wouldn't be surprised if it was true?

How much do you like tiger snakes?

Winter might be OK, but it would be same as sailing on the river.

Yup.

We have a similar wetland lakes setup near us, and I always knew tigers liked the wetlands as they eat frogs etc. Till...... I went water skiing there ( only people there on weekends in summer so the snakes don't get frightened off by lots of ppl)........... and the buggers swim alright.

Scariest thing (whether u are terrified of them like me, or even if you are a 'normal' person) when you are just starting off in the shallows and a ****in tigersnake swims towards you in an aggressive manner (in attack mode).

But hey a good windsurf is worth it, give it a go. I would not want to put a dampener on anyone's enjoyment
