Conditions were actually about as good as South Passage gets - windy enough for jumps, and lots of clean overhead sections linking up all the way to the inside. Luke and Ty were looking very dangerous through most of the early heats with their local knowledge really showing. Both these guys were continually in the right place at the right time, blowing the backs out of the biggest sets.

Scotty was nailing monster back loops most runs out, Luke was answering them with his own one-handed versions as well as his trademark 'Roast Beef'.

All in all, it was an afternoon of quality wavesailing, followed up by a few beers at the Lancelin Tavern.
