Great to hear you enjoyed this one as well! I'll start shooting the first foil vids as soon as my new boards to show up. Are you just foiling right now or windsurfing as well?

I used to windsurf, but switched to 100% foiling about two years ago and haven't looked back. The local conditions are usually <20kts, so foiling is more fun.

I used to windsurf, but switched to 100% foiling about two years ago and haven't looked back. The local conditions are usually <20kts, so foiling is more fun.


Foiling is so much fun! My 4.8 has pretty much exclusively been a foilstyle sail since I started foiling. Still really enjoy windsurfing with the 4.4, but being for cruising and doing big air tricks in light winds the foil is hard to beat.

Where's your home spot?

Yeah, for sure! I'd rather be foiling on a 4.0, then being marginally powered on a 6.0 with a fin.

My local spots are in the bay around Brisbane, Australia.

Spot looks sweet! I take it the islands on the coast block the wind, or are the trade winds just not that strong on that side of the country?
