Not the ideal location as the resort bay (small beach at the end of the runway)faces south into the passage between Lindeman & Seaforth isalnd, the link below gives you a basic idea www.sunzine.net/whitsundays/whitsundays-island-map.html but unless you get a good SE'r it's not going to be much chop as any northerlies will be offshore. My advice for what's it's worth...leave your gear at home & get the brownee points up for a trip to better sailing locations!!

However I would recommend checking the chart before you depart....if there is a big high down south or Tropical Low up off Cairns take your gear!!

Yes they offer windsurfing but i imagine it will be pretty low end stuff,i could be wrong, went to a club med in Turkey years ago, they didnt have harness lines or harnesses hence my eagerness to take my own,Never mind we will see what am i going to talk to her about for a week!!!
