Don't mean to be a pain, but I thought westoz, stated that naymore downloads from that site would cause an overload or an excess over the limit of downloads? Hopefully I misunderstood??

Well done to John...
I think the show is bloody fantastic. He put an incredible amount of work in to get it up and running.

Great to see all the local windsurfers chatting about what they love doing. There is some really good footage in there.

So good on ya John

yep, well done I reckon too! It's crazy something like this wasn't done a long time ago, especially in WA.

just a suggestion, incase u haven't tried (i'm becoming an expert at el-cheapo hacks ) - with the use of microphone in the wind, a low budget way to reduce most of the wind noise if using a seperate mic not attached to cam is to get some coathanger wire and make a cone shape, and pull an old sock over it with a hole in the end, and poke the mike into it. You can point the mic towards the sound source and not have any sound reflections off the inside of the cone. Just make sure the wire doesn't rattle against the mic itself and u keep the mike pointing straight at the speaker, otherwise you get a bit of eq variations. I post a rough pic 4 u

Thanks Haircut, that is a brilliant idea. You should take it to the New Inventors on the ABC.

My problem is that I have one of the new Sony cameras with a LANC input for the Helmet Cam and unfortunately these cameras are not compatible with external mics.
The mic I use is a wireless Bluetooth mic that attaches to the person or hangs around your neck. I will have to modify your design to suit.

Thanks for the idea.

Wow bluetooth mic! You could use any sort of windsock but use some sort of lapel mic clip to keep the mic sock from rubbing against your shirt.
