G'day my friendly neighbourhood windsurfers,
I'd like to tell the story of how my board got away and what I've done to get it back.
While sailing out into the breakers between Lano and Edward Island, my mast decided it would bust its way through the top end of my sail. While de-rigging the sail I found myself being drawn towards a reef section which dumped a rather nice wave on top of my head, taking my board from me.
An hour later I was in a boat motoring around looking for the board, but to no avail. I'd like to thank the man who picked me up, cheers for your help.
The next day we got up before the crack of dawn and drove Super-Stu's beast up the beach from Lano to Wedge and beyond hoping to find a very nice Starboard washed up on shore. No luck, bummer. THanks Stu, your a champion mate.
The town of Lancelin are well informed of the missing board, as I've given out notices and posted signs around the area. The police have also been informed.
Once again, the board is an ACID 94 Litre Starboard, had a 'mast base' attached and a minor repair job on the bottom deck of the board, near the rail.
A very generous reward will be offered to the person who returns the board.
If found, please contact myself or Stu on the above numbers.
Any information with regards to the board will be greatly appreciated.
Cheers

Peter Bennett
