I have heard of people going to Mandurah to boardsail,windsurf, Is it because its flat water? is it because its safe? why is it poular and where do they go? I am looking for flat water blasting! is that the Mandurah way?
Yep we've got flat water blasting, Hardy and Elmo are the experts, there's some shallow spots on the eastuary that are reasonably smooth. Also on a low tide and WNW wind, inside Avalon bay is fun. There's a shallow reef 100-200m or so out, gets rid of most of the chop, just lets thru small swells.
