Good one Elmo, guess you missed the carnage earlier in the day. Buckets claimed another mast, Swiss lady apparently, either didn't know it was there or forgot, went for that clasic last reo-----
Then young Cameron thought he was ready for the challenge, he might have been but his ancient wildwinds 5.3 wasn't, exploded even better than my Dr X, he was smart and swam past buckets into cosies. Frank damaged a leg with a bad landing.
After 3 or 4 waves Derek and I decided caution was better than valour and went back to the bay!

It's the morning after

My knees are sore
My left elbow is sore
My board has a cracked nose

and worse of all

My face hurts as I haven't been able to wipe the bloody big smirk of my face yet

Ahh Good Times, Good times

Decrep,

Sorry to hear about your session.

You definately don't want to hear about mine then apart from saying, have you ever had one of those session where not matter what you did you felt you could do no wrong?? (unlike my normal efforts)

Is this a new spot that I havent heard of before or is it just a self named spot? Must be different to the one that a few of the local Bunbury boys go to??

Who is this maked man with a masked spot sailing all by himself? Share your secrets oh' Chicken man.

Oh Shi-thouse my dear friend, you should be enriching the minds of our youth with your wisdom, rather than spending time wondering where my local patch is Your just pi**ed that you did'nt get wet mate Tried to ring ya. Anyway thats my last day of hols and you have seven weeks coming up so Im sure the tables with be turned.
PS. It is a self proclaimed name. Hardie came up with it so I shall follow thee ol wise ones recogning
PPS. You will be pleased to know that the local fisherman chased a 5 metre great white out of there the day before. And I get told after I had been sailing by myself Im all feathers and bones anyway

I managed to sneak an hour in at Grand Canals, giving the new boom and mast a sweet workout, overpowered on the 5.3 DrX with kicking wind chop!!!!

Seven weeks holidays!!!! Ahhhhh! What to do with them??? If someone could just tell Huey that winter should have ended three months ago.

Whats this - "PPS. You will be pleased to know that the local fisherman chased a 5 metre great white out of there the day before. And I get told after I had been sailing by myself Im all feathers and bones anyway"

Is that just to keep fellow sailors away from your own secret spot?
Not too worry just have to remember not to stack it or run into some lazy cray line.

mmh well Gazza dragged me down to "G" land. Got here as Karen J was carrying her broken gear back to the car after she played in buckets, Later saw some other dude getting hammered in buckets I thought it was all over for him and then he managed to sail out well done dude! The wind was a bit up and down I though swell was OK I liked that bomby about 200m south. I think I saw the "Hardman" a guy was on a big Blue Delta 4wd parked on the beach, not sure never seen him before.
Hellman of the day award goes to Corey he was charging he even took a wave down to just past buckets got worked, gets washed in, walks his gear back up the beach goes out for some more.

So that big wave out the back was sharkies? I got about 6 or 7 bottom turns on that wave took me down to where all the others were sailing.
So did elmo have that orange sail?
Why did you pack up so earlie Hardie it was still light?

G'day Juice

Hardie was running a black Ezzy with his pale blue Delta
I was using a Blue panneled N Pryde sail on a Blue board.
There was also a younger bloke who was running an Orange trimmed sail who was marauding around there demolishing a few waves.

we were on the water from 1600 til 1730

Ah Ha So that's who those two sailors were. I was in stealth mode using a black Tushie going back and forth between the break where the crowd was and the bigger wave out back where you guys were, couldn't decide which was the better break.

Great feeling isn't it?
Know it well, but I'm experiencing it less these days.
