no chance.
i was down at illawarrah at it was blowing.`but that was a rare teaser that we very occasionaly get around here. it was from a low pressure cell, the normal sea breeze is pretty pissy around this way

why walk when u can sail?

Didn't make it myself to Manly on Sat as I was sailing at The Entrance on the central coast, but yeah Manly rocks in a NE and SE too if there's enough wind. Most of the NE blows onto the southern beaches like Wanda.

Also try Long Reef in a stiff NE - it blows around the headland for cross-offshore sailing. When that happens, you'll see the entire northern beaches wavesailing contingent (but still get plenty of waves!)

Excellent! Down the line is the way to go! I just need to get a vehicle to get Long Reef! Whats the rocks/reef like - shallow, sharp etc.. or is pretty obvious?

Cheers!

You sail on the southern side at Long Reef beach itself. No worries with rocks or anything - just watch the bombies at low tide. Good rigging area too. See you out there sometime!

Nice, will have to wait for this weather to clear then head up that way. Thanks for the advice.

See you on the water
