The Sandy Point (Pittwater) marathon is still going on, pretty much as an informal event between the Windsurfer One Design crew from Narrabeen and Dobroyd. All other boards are welcome but this year it's not a formal race with rescue boats etc.

For anyone interested, it's this Sunday, 2pm, Sandy Point.

The biggest marathon of the year on the east coast may be January 27th at Batemans Bay, but it will be restricted to One Designs. It looks like the fleet will range from legends from the early days of Oz windsurfing, like Scott O'Connor, to 8 year olds (doing a very short course).
