Police are trying to identify a man found dead in the Swan River in Applecross this morning.
The man’s body was found floating about 200m offshore from the Applecross Tennis Court, off Ardross Street, just before noon.
(the Radio said he was in his 30 or about 30 and wearing a wetsuit)
(edit) 3.38pm The dead man, described as about 25 to 35 years of age, was wearing a short-sleeved wetsuit.
Police who searched the area for clues said the death did not appear to be suspicious at this stage.

The man is thought to be a 37 year-old from West Leederville.
Family members will confirm his identity later today.
Police say his death is not suspicious and believe he may have been exercising on the river when he died.
Detective Senior Sergeant Neville Beard says the man was wearing a wetsuit.
"He's mid to late thirties, he has a fair complexion, a slim to medium yet athletic build so it would appear that he's a windsurfer or a cyclist or a triathlete or something similar," he said.
