Just wondering, the ocean reef reading often shows more wind than swanbourne. Is it more windy up there or is usually the same, and just the readings are inaccurate?

For example right now shows an extra 3-5 knots.

i think ocean reef is on top of a hill and readings are higher than they are on the water and swanbourne is in a hollow and lower than actual

maybe could someone confirm the actual locations of the wind measurement?

wind intensity is something you should check (average wind speed over how many seconds)

rotto readings allways appears higher than what it is on the water also

Dunno about windy, but it was bloody bumpy and gusty tonight
The wind meter sits directly out from the end of Ocean Reef Rd, well out so will give a better reading. I.E. most last night ran near 7's and up with pressure only about the 14-15 in close. Out I think it was reading 16-17's
