Did you ask for those mods to the shape? Tail looks a little fatter. Does it have the same amount of vee?

How does it go?

Hi, I built the red board. Just to clarify ,the Flow in the photo is a 266. The red board was based on the 276. Hence the different shape.
The nose was modified to make it look more modern. It finished at 260. I didn't put the deck channels in. I think it looks a bit cleaner without them.
it was an interesting project to do. I'm keen to see how it goes.

Suppose you're right Elmo.......

Making a red flow is a bit like making this-

Would love to know how it rides, if it's retained the flow's feel

While standing in the water today it flew past with only the area behind the fin touching the water. It looks like its rather good in chop and bloody fast.

Now i've had a few sails (haven't got much work done this week) I feel I can give a more accurate assessment
It's definatly quicker than a flow, gybes the same (but thats what I wanted), still a comfortable ride in the bumps but has a very different sound (so what)
Only downside, because it's so light every time I have a swim the umbilical flips the board over! Used to happen sometimes on the old board, but it's no big deal, just have to get a softer uni joint. I'm thrilled with it I will get some photos in action when I can con someone into walking out on the sandbar to snap me

I suppose it's a bit different because its lighter and probably much stiffer too (?)

Thanks for posting the pics Krisiz.
Your next challenge is to jump off the new flow, back onto the old one and give us an idea of how they compare directly.

I'm tipping the new one will be a little faster and earlier to plane, but reckon the old one might ride a little more smoothly.....

Good luck with it.

(There's a guy here in Vic that does it too, and I'm tempted to get my 93 ltr "cloned")

I went out last night. Conditions were vicious! 30knts+ gusty. 4 mtr fully cranked on. It was a dream. All my friends were there (yeah alone again).New board just skips over the lumps. Sailed till it got too dark!
