You guys must be getting fairly excited about tomorrow with another severe weather warning being issued?

Very excited indeed.

Two weekends ago it was too much. I tried my good ole 3.3m2 from 94 but I had no hope.

Last saturday served up a superb session at Box Head despite the SSE direction. Gee it was great getting a good session again after two months of suffering.

Tomorrow or Thursday might deliver the goods again and it looks like SW to SSW which is the best direction for BH - could be anohter trip up there.

So BH is worth the drive?

I did my knee ligaments on Sunday so I'm out for a month at least

Knee ligaments.... that must be terrible.

I think it is worth the drive on days when the ocean beaches are out of control.

Bay surf at port hacking would be the pick, dolls pt hasnt been working well lately in these storms theres no banks its just a massive dumpy wave still good jumps though.
Where do you launch from for box head? Ive heard about it before but never sailed it.

Bring on the storms!!!

Launch from the 'brisbane waters inlet' end of the beach (Umina is on the other end). Place is popular with kiters so you'll easily find it.

Toowoon Bay at The Entrance can handle big swell.Had a good session there on sunday
