NW - W, GOLD COAST ????

WHere do you all sail on the Gold Coast in the NW - W ?

generally they don't. If you are absolutely bloomenlootely desperate to sail at GC then seaworld carpark and the spit are about it, but neither compare to Wellington point in anything westerly. NW is great at Kirra in the surf, but not much good anywhere else on GC. See the light like most other GC folk and simply head to Wellington point and save yourself the grief when westerlies are forecast. Victoria point is good for sw to se, wello is good for sw to nw. To get to wello take the beenleigh redland bay exit and then turn left into mt cotton road.

Thanks Haircut,
i am just going to have to venture toWP or VP for flatwater blasting, but i am keen to get to kirra to get started in the waves so hopefully i can see what it is like to get air under my board.

I did say to MD74 i would get out in the surf so it is time to bite the bullet
