My point of view is that RRD offer better performance, I had a Naish all terrain and it was a pig on the water......

Robby is just not putting any development in his boards and sails, he is just renaming them and changing the colours every year.... all his budget goes into kite and SUP....

I have just looked at the dimensions and for the 95lt both are 240x62 and the 105lt both are 244x64.

So I was puzzled as to why - if they are indeed identical with minimum dif in the rail - not get the GF which is cheaper with a smaller fin as an extra one and have the best of 2 worlds (price and general conditions performance) - if that is possible ??

I am not an expert so I may not completely understand what I am reading, but this variety of models / shapes / categories has me a bit confused ...

hi guys,
a couple of things, firstly the 2010 Global and Global freeride are what i think you are asking about. these two boards did come out of the same moulds. so shape/rocker/rails are all the same. The construction and the fins are the differences.
the 2010 global (not GF) is a continualtion of the previous years all terain line and is a higher spec construction and comes with two fins in the powerbox versions and a factory boardbag.
I also can't remember the exact layup of the 2010 GF but it is a touch heavier and theoretically more flexible than the Global. this board is the one that is supplied with one fin.
If you already have a quiver of powerbox fins or arent fin specific, the on water differences wont be huge for someone not sailing daily.

also no comments on rrd, but Naish definately pour some resources into windsurfing each year, they have a full time sail designer who does nothing but their sails, and pours a ton of energy into them each year. the same can be said of the board department.
