Newbies such as FilthyAmateur rocked at the G on Sunday.

Howz this...........he started windsurfing in April and decides to have his first go at wavesailing at the G in 35 knots and a 4 metre swell, has this guy got cojones or what

There were a number of other guys who had their first sail there, and was I impressed, Forwards, one handed backies, Double forward attempts (Or was that an over rotated....) Impressive guys, I wasn't going out until you guys inspired me

Wish I had the same talents and guts........Although, some of the more unkind among you, would say I have plenty of GUTS...... You eat one too many hamburgers................

Maby the fact that us youngies can trash ourselves, but we only stay sore for a day or two. Oldies like you hardman stay sore for weeks
I also ended up on a trip to buckets and ripping my luff sleave, but that happens

Evening all. Now my 42 year old,4kg over weight, haven't windsurfed since May body has recovered but still sore thought I'd introduce myself. I have moved to Perth from NZ having decided it's a better place to live, during a holiday here in Feb. Brought a house in Waikiki.

I took a bit of a beating at the G. That was me swearing & cursing while swimming. Got the bruises to prove it but still had a great time. Few waves & jumps. Great conditions.

Spoke to a couple of you. I was the old bugger out of breath !! Someone introduced themselves as soon as I got out the car & gave me the low down on where not to go. Still managed to bruise my heel at buckets.

Enjoyed watching the guys rip it up. I might find some life in this old body to try a few new moves myself.
