Hi All

Any advice on the best spots to sail in a NW.

Was out yesterday at Applecross but it was a bit onshore.

Would like to know about spots on the river and on the coast

Cheers,
Ben

Crazy Waves (Freo - South beach) can be OK in a NW - Launch from South Beach Car Park on quiet days as the car park at Catherine point has a history of break ins.

Point Peron can be good if theres a macka swell - but be very careful at low tide

I was at applecross too. I think the trick is to get off the shore a bit and try to get into the fresher breezes ... u seem to get more of a lift off the shore i found. Close in u keep getting pushed towards the banks.
