Hey guys was just wondering ,where the best place in perth is to learn to wavesail,by that i mean not get of the shore a couple of meters before getting smashed by big waves !

mullaloo when the swell is less than 2.0m (rotto buoy)

Dutch Inn. You have a little run up before u hit the 'waves'. Mullaloo, although needs a bit of swell for there to be much of a wave. Mettams, but u got to watch for the rocks.

Dutch Inn a nice safe bump and jump place with a few little waves to start in. Ask locals where to get out to avoid a couple of rocks.

Are you able to sail anywhere at scabs or are there restrictions as to where you can sail? It seems like just south is the most common spot is that true?

Restrictions? None what so ever except between the flags obviously.
To use the ocean is free of charge
Use your imagination. Ive windsurfed Trigg before just to get away from the crowd. But if you wanna stick with the crew just rig south of the surf club
