I've noticed the winds stronger at Ocean Reef than Swanbourne.
Does this mean its windier further north, e.g. windier at Scarborough than it is at Cottlesloe?
Trying to work out where to go out after work...

It's probably true on a seabreeze that the wind is a bit stronger the further north u go, but today's wind is isobar squeeze, so this wipes out the above statement. The positioning of the wind meters probably has more to do with it.
