Comrade Crash Landing
You have been sailing at One Mile in Nelson Bay yes ?
Where do you launch from ?
Any one else sailed this area ?
I just move here from Russia and keen for many wave sailing adventures
I look at track in from middle rock... long walk and tight squeeze through bush but beach and wave look very good

Anyone keen to sail this spot or have info of where else is good ?

I have been sailing Birubi in Nor easters... cross off and slingshot fast down the line... very big fun yes
Can't wait for westerlies at Birubi !

I saw "one mile wavesailing" and thought you meant 1 mile down the line Baja style.

The again in WA we have a place like that (no WA people, I'm not telling where)

Mate

Head up past the rocks at One Mile to the next beach. Samurai....It is awsome in the N/E.
4WD to get to it or mid way along One Mile there is a parking spot and a track to walk across to the beach. A bit of a hike but worth it.

Fingal Bay when a southerly swell is runnung is OK. But most people rekon there is never any waves there.

Baggies beach in a westerly is OK for chop in a run in tide.

And when a huge swell is running in the middle grounds of Port Stephens gets a nice wave on the sand banks.

Westerlies are good at Birubi

You are very wise grasshopper, maybe soon i can snatch pebble from your hand and become master of local sailing areas.
For Samurai do you go through caravan park for access to beach ?

Australia_Mark I have also had many one mile length wave sailing at secret west aussie spot... and also many many long long mast high walls off a tiny island in the Indian Ocean, just a mere 8 hours from Perth !

I go back there this year with some more windsurf friends... in meantime i practice in local area and get ready for 12 bottoms turn on every wave

Ahhhhhhh

If 4wd you have. Just north of the caravan park a track you will find.
If no 4wd go south a mile or so and find a walking track over the sand.

No I was speaking to clueless Euro tourists and telling them to go to Gnaraloo. There is nothing of any value down here, and most spots are light, gusty and onshore.

The distinct dismissal of all good things in Esperance, raises my suspicions that Mark is not being truthful.......

Comrade Decrepit,
This I can not tell you of secret long long wave sailing spot
Only Comrade Mark-Aus, me and my 87 closest windsurfing friends will know of this spot when we sail it.
I sure Comrade Mark_Aus will not mind sharing this long long wave with select Russian sailors... all 87 of them.
Maybe we invite some Euro sailors as well ?
Very friendly the Euro sailors, always like to have BIG group on one wave... much much group sharing for Euro sailors.
I bring special sailing buddy for this purpose.
His name is Mad Dog, he like big group on one wave... take off very deep than see how many he can run down... I think Comrade Mark_Aus like this too, yes ?
Every group need one mad dog !

Hahaha Kremlin.

Mark if you tell me the spot i can bring down all the friends i can find that have never windsurfed and teach them how to windsurf. Come on you wont mind a wall off 50 beginners standing up uphauling infront of a perfect set coming through. You can even teach them how to repair sails after one of them puts their mast through yours.
