Spent the beginning of this week on the Gold Coast.... work related, unfortunately no chance of taking gear or scamming time off

Whats the deal??? I thought this place was meant to be beautiful one day and perfect the next. Bloody rained the whole time I was there

At least it was windy I guess

yeah, its getting pretty big coverage in the local papers.

Ah well, did plenty of weight lifting practice with the right arm.
I find that after about 15 Corona's I have to change to the left arm coz they just get too heavy

harsh, harsh, harsh, grumps.

my herb garden has exploded into life, my lawn is a bit green and my meagre swimming pool is back up to a reasonable level.

gold coast has so welcomed this rain and as i speak it is still drizzling!
even windsurfed currumbin in squally conditions yesterday. heaven!

The wife rings two days later, 27degrees sunshine beautiful .... gold coast - pissing down.
I leave Brissy on Thurs morning, forecast for perth squalls and rain, hmmmmmm maybe its me. Think I'll give Peter Beattie a call and hire our my services
