Just checked the property prices there, farrk. They make Turramurra and Wahroonga look cheap. I don't understand why land in a town in the middle of nowhere costs so much when there is nothing surrounding the town but scrub and sand.

They better be paying you at least 90K a year coz the rents there are stupendous. This is coming from someone who lives in Sydney, used to rent and bought a place in Sydney last year.

Why is the town dodgy? Wouldn't the windsurfing there be great?

Issue is lots of work, no place to rent, soooo up goes the price per week up there.
We (Company) rent a few for work team members families, one chap pulled the pin, started with another group, and wont vacate the house we have lease on. Just said, "sad, I ain't moving, and by the time you get me out I will have made my money". End of discussion. No chance of even a bit of mental pressure to move him on, he got legal involved first time we spoke to him

That stick is called a 'shambok' and can be very effective at increasing productivity.
Failing the use of the shambok you can always use your belt for some persuading and just remember to say this in your best Yarpie accent when you're about to dish out the good stuff.

I just think it is very selfish when one exploits their situation as in the story outlined by Mineral... when people have bugger all consideration for others and then try and hide behind the law in a bid to better themselves financially AND at the detriment to others... this is when the use of the 'shambok' can be very effective and humbling.
Karma can take a long time to come round man, this is why we sometimes speed up the process !

Working FIFO so I can get out every few weeks.
I will only go if I can sail.

luck has it I'd be an electrical draftsman and I should be able to work my hours to get wet every once in a while.....As long as I get a good quantlty of drawings into the system.
I believe its 10 hour shifts, Sunday off.
