No.7 No advertising

I think Laurie would prefer if commercial operators wish to advertise their services then they pay for banner ads...

Aaah very interesting!

Sorry I offended you yoyo!

As a windsurfer who actually is a kite instuctor and was just looking to have a fun time with other windsurfers which by the way would be of no comercial gain to me at all, I am truely sorry.

I did think that a forum such as this would be a good place for spreading the word of having fun.

and as for rule 7 " no advertising" I haven't once mentioned any of the discounted kiting and windsurfing gear we sell as that would be advertising.

Hi Tony,

I wasn't offended, but your posts with Warren (Sandy Point)sounded like one big advertorial to me and while I felt it was not fair to the others who do pay Laurie for the banner ads etc. mainly I just felt it inappropriate....

Our sandy point week is a group of saiboarders and kiteboarders going for it and having fun, sharing a house and being able to sit down to a meal together and talk sailing.

the financial side is simply sharing the cost, as you do.

If I was doing it for money then I would be starving.

At any rate it makes for good forum conversation.

i'll ponder the meaning of life the universe and everything this next week at Sandy point in an electronic devise free sail zone ( gps accepted).
and in the meantime anyone interested in a road trip from Vic. to port stephens can let me know here, as long as the answer doesn't sound too comercial of course.
I'll check this topic on my return.
