The guys at RRD International asked 2nd wind Sailboards to pass on congradulations to all competitors in this years Lancelin Ocean classic.

"Firstly to John Grilich for winning the board of his choice from the draw of all entrants....To Annika Gilgren for taking 2nd in the Ladies division on the new X-fire slalom...To Matthew Gwynne for taking out the Juniors double of waves and marathon 1st place...Also to their new international team rider Jesper Orth for his 7th place in a very strong field of racers."

Well done to Matthew G who is still only 14 years old and struggled down the course on a 7.5m sail and 102 ltr x-fire race board even though he weighs about 55kgs soaking wet, had a few catapults along the way, all after a great showing in the wave comp the previous days.

Tushingham were also thrilled that 4th place in the Ladies -Leonie Darman was on a 6.5m no cam T-Bird sail, 2nd place mens open Ben Arthur also on a 7.5m no cam T-bird sail, and 2nd place masters was on a 7.8m lightning and asked to pass on congradulations from the guys freezing in their office in the UK at the moment. Tushingham's Dave Hackford was a place getter in the 2nd ever Ledge point to Lancelin race in the late 80's and knows how tough it can be.

It was a very challenging event due to the wind change this year so well done to all competitiors.
