Yea its true Rusty has a NEW board.
Well today I bought a brand NEW board........went down to call in on ECB and Longreef today to check on boards,stopped at ECB first as its the first one I came to,Well found myself a brand new Fanatic Bee 317,has centreboard,longboard characteristics,but shortboard style,best of both worlds.
This was "New Old Stock" at a good price,fits my criteria and maximum weight of 13 kg.nice board.couldnt pass it up,even though i was trying not to buy new.
thanks to Sam at ECB who gave me good service and a good deal,I can certainly recomend Sam's service,even dropped the base off to me at Narrabeen lakes after work when it was forgotten,and i still had another hours drive home,that helped me a lot.
By coincidence I saw Warren Francis there preparing for Winda Woopa next week,hadnt seen him in years,invited me up next week,but hey Im broke after buying this board Ill have to see.
Now I need to buy some sails to use with my old one design rig or a whole new second hand rig.When does it end? lol

Yep..you were easy to recognise in the carpark of ECB in Sydney. I was on my way up to Winda Woppa for another great two weeks Windsurfing....If you want to give that new board a run..come on up!
Our last Instructional Winda Woppa Weekend + week program is from Feb 25th finishing on March 11th, then i'm off....
Up to FIJI to open our new 2005 accommodation Villa - 4 bedroom / 2 bathroom / 2 story....for this years groups from May to November....
Really happy you got a new board and are excited -well done!

yea you caught me looking at those old Wallies in the carpark didnt you,yes but it was only curiosity this time,I swear!

Must admin i did laugh when i saw you eyeing up a few 1980 model long boards....took me well back to when you first arrived on our Windsurfing Trips....complete with the vintage Car..what a sight!
I think it was a Sunbeam Car...rusty..like the name.....
Enjoy your new board and get out there and have Fun...Stay away from old longboard racks..those days are gone!
