Hi everyone,
What is the best way to bring a board from the sunshine coast to Adelaide. I have seen that guys have used bus transport for 50-60 dollars but they are now saying that 2.6m is to long and won't take the board.
Any ideas would be appriciated from people who have done this and know where to take it of who to courier it.
cheers

take it to a sailboard shop, and sweet talk them into using their frieght account to ship it.
they will be able to get a quote. you pay that and some extra for their time and tolerance.
Off course they could say No, but that's their call to make.
but I'm sure you are such a nice guy. you will spread the word of their excellent service.

Thankyou for the ideas. Can anyone give me names of shops or couriers and a contact phone number please. The bus companies wouldn't take anything over 2m long.
Love to hear from anyone. I've purchased a board on the sunshine coast and having trouble finding a reasonable cost way to get it back to Adelaide. $160 seems a lot!
Cheers

Toll Ipec ph 133366 is one of the few companies I found where you don't have to have an a/c
I sold some gear recently with no probs. they do door to door only and you organise get a quote and pay over the phone.
Mark it fragile and top load only and make sure you box it up good.
