Just like to say thanks to everyone that has given me rigging advice, i have already noticed a big difference in my sailing. Not quite in the foot straps yet but im getting there. Saving for a 7.2mtr sail. I have a 430 mast, do i need a 460 or should i just use a mast extension?

I too am looking for a larger sail, around 7.5m. From what I have seem most sails of this size will fit on a 4.6m mast but some require a 4.9.
I do not think a 4.3m mast will be long enough but perhaps some sails have a shorter luff than others.

Its UNsafe to say you wont fit a 7.2 on a 430. I can just get my 6.5 on a 430 and it works better on a 460.

Can think of 2 sails around 7m designed for 430 masts. Naish Boxer Slalom 7.0 and Pryde Zen 7.2 and there will be some others around these days. Both sails work and rig very well but at different ends of the sailing spectrum.
