Hi,

Ive decided to make the Sandy Point trip this year, looking to team up with anyone that might have room for 1 plus 2 boards and about 4 sails. I dont know what the go with accom is, any info/tips appreciated. I can cut back on gear if need.

Cheers

Keep in touch closer the time, i really struggle to plan that far ahead with the drugs...sorry mean work, Really good idea to have a car when your there as its not usually windy every day but when it is..........hippa
If you could get three or four and a camper van would that work.

Last year a few groups of guys shared houses for the two weeks during Al's Speed Fortnight. Depending on the size of the house, it costs about $100 or so per person, per week.

For example, this house holds 10 people, for $800 per week:

Anyone interested?

Note that you probably dont want to stay in the caravan park - it can get pretty cold. Also, when it blows -> everything gets flattened, especially tents.

Hey Kato, I'll be their cup weekend and the week to follow for sure, and if we get a good forcast before that there's a few of us bay sailors that are keen for a crack at some speed sailing.
see you there

Hey Matthew, I am keen to book ahead, so yeah Im in depending on how many other put their hands up. I could probably justify half the entire cost if I had too thou, stills makes for a reasonably cheep holiday.

Ill be driving down from Brisbane probably leaving on the Sat 29th Sept and coming back on 11th or 12th Oct. I will have room for atleast one other person if anyone is interested. No trailer, only roof racks on a 4x4 thou.

Cheers

G'day Mat,

Is that the house we were in last year? I'm keen for a similar arrangement, what are the sydney guys up to? Barney's also a starter this year.
