Guys flew in from everywhere for this. Our own Sambo Parker did the dash for glory. Lots of crashes, broken people and gear and gusts to 63 knots.

World leading effort by Chris today
As Elmo says way out on top of the GPS SS 2006 rankings and 2nd only to the big Findog on the all time GPS official (5 x 10 sec ave) rankings.
Chris's dedication (read addiction) to GPS speed sailing is to be admired.
Chris made the decision on Tuesday PM to pack up his gear and fly 3500 km on Wednesday PM (redeye) for 3 days of sailing on the basis of a Windguru full purple 3 day forecast - Priceless
Speaks volumes for his dedication (err addiction)
Well done mate - glad you are a west aussie!!
