Hi Mineral1,

Sandy Point is 3 hours SE of Melbourne near the Prom. Best times around Sept to Dec. Where are you?

make sure there is going to be plenty of wind before you go, it's a long drive for a dissapointment... SW and E - NE work best i think..... but when it works you will sail till you can sail no more.

Thanks Crem and Windy, WA located in Perth. Dont reckon I will be seeing this place in near future.
But it looks a hell of a spot for flat water types like me. Not much into wave launching, just flat water runs, TBO for wave stuff.

Hell of a photo .

Crem , Woodies is rubbish now for speed. The dunes are almost mast high. 200m runs if you are lucky.

Crem, yep we do. But only new to the sport and haven’t tried Woodman’s yet. Skill level still way short of where I want to be, and needs to be.
Agree with yoyo, season drying up and stagnant days lately except for the last week which came good for the later half. Next week looks a whole lot better. Just have to belt it hard over winter to get ready for next summer.
Still impressed with original photo, and the last links you sent, thanks very much.
Looks like you all had a ripper of a trip.
Thanks for the rest of the replys, Windy Mat and Co.
