I actually like sailing when there are other people around. Apart from the obvious saftey benifits I always find it helpfull to watch others sail, you can pick up tricks or techniques that can improve your sailing.
Whilst sometimes at Gerroa it can get a bit interesting when there are 30 people sailing, lets face it this isn't going to happen at Windang on Saturday. I've sailed there 4 times probably in the last 2 months and have seen one person, once. I'm no Windang expert but the last few times i've sailed there the banks were pretty bad as well :|

well you can learn a lot from watching Whyner.
mostly things that are morally/socially unacceptable, and things that aren't very hygenic.

Your right CJW. Windang never gets crowded. I had it crowded only once when a bunch of about 50 hammerheads where in the lineup. I went in and let them have it to themselves - Wave Hogs.
It would be good to see some more sailors around. Sailing by myself all the time gets a little boring.

did i ever tell u guys the story about how peto wanted to show me a windsurfing spot??? well he showed me this spot so we were rigging up about togo out, then he mentions to me this is where all the gays come to meet up!!! this scared the **** out of me!!! all of a sudden i was thinking to myself maybe hes 1 of them and him and all these other blokes were waiting 4 him to grab me and take into the toilets and have their way with my virgin asss. so the next few minutes i was watching him and every1 else in that carpark very carefully, as i walk to wards the beach i relised i had forgotten my harness, i was seriously scared to walk back down to the car park becos i noticed on my way to the beach that another guy turned up, so i was walking back to my car and theres this dude looking very suss at me as hes getting in his car to leave, anyways i grabbed my harness and started walking back only to get 5m away from my car and i had forgotten to lock it so i walked back and just as i thort that weird gay guy was gone, i sore him start to reverse his car rite towards me, so i started running flat out towards the beach and told peto and he just started larfing at me!!! i wish it was him in my situation cos i was honestly scared. the end
p.s dont do anything peto says to do and definetly do not follow him to and of his "SPECIAL" sailing spots. SERIOUSLY!!! in maui and it sucks it has stoped raining and swell is crap!!!

Could be on at Gerroa tomorrow, nice southerly swell running and a 15-20kt Ne'r predicted. *crosses fingers*
