I have just started using a carve99 used to use 140ltr board.

Since moving to the carve99 I find it hard to plain up wind. and preplaining the board wants to head up wind all the time. Using a storm 5.0 or infinty 6.0 any ideas ???? using mast setting about the middle with a weed fin

G'Day Paddy! Well done dude!!!
Try moving the mast foot forward and hang down on the boom more when you are trying to get on the plane.
Have your front foot along the centre of the board, just behind the mast base, and the back foot across the centre of the board just in front of the back foot straps. This should pop you up onto the plane quicker...

Gettin' gone!!! Seaton

i think it was bernie who refered me to the boards web site
it has real good technique stuff
a board between 90-110L get a tape measure and mark from the tail 135cm
this is where your mast base should be
then according to what you want your board to do determines if you move it forward or backwards
