Looks like the UK just got a metric buttload of wind, and the GPS ranks have changed accordingly.

Hey Elm,

I reckon the Mandurah crew will give 50K's a nudge this year and we'll be on top of the GPS ratings, .......... they are talking km's an hour aren't they?............................... aren't they............... Someone please tell me it's km/h pleeeeeeeeeeease!!!!!

Hmmmmm maybe not,I miss read your post, = 85.5 kph--- if its in knots.
Bloody hell, that’s got the rack fully open and the torque spring bent right over, for sure in anybody's language.

yeah 40 knots is so last century.... we are now going for 50 knots!

Having done only a few 40's, I can say that going that fast requires lots of time spent on your gear, lots of practice at that speed, and a decent bit of luck at getting the right conditions.

I'd be happy (very) with one 40 (2 sec), Id be happy to get my ave up to 35.

We'll have to wait for the conditions to come in to test the potential of "Hardies" run.
