To anyone interested in the performance of the evo 74.

I have just had two days at mandurah riding the new 74 evo and had the sailing of my life. I have not ridden waves since january last summer but the evo made me feel like I haven't skipped a beat.
I am 60 kg and not a top class sailor, however this made baord gave me full control regardless of the wind strenght. I sailed powered then totally maxed on a 4.5 on Monday then under powered through to maxed on a 5.0 on Tuesday. On both days even fully blown out I was able to turn the evo without much effort at all.
This board lets you concentrate on the wave and sail position without having to think about pushing the board though the turn. It cranks big turns, tight turns slogging or at full power and just drives effortlessly to the lip. The projection off the lip is controlled but loose and so easy. Burying the nose as you drop down the face is so hard to do your confidence lifts so much. I was able to attack the wave so much harder and faster than ever before. Even being so light I was able to turn when ever I needed.

The evo is awesome and perfect for perth wave sailing.
