Hey everybody.. i am looking at a 2004 or 2003 starboard acid.. 80L ..
the read ones..
anyone used or use one of these..
what do you think of them.. i am 84KG.. so its a good size for me. .. but wondering how they perform.. what are there downfalls.. and **** like that

They are a great read. Nice intro , exhilarating body and the conclusion is awesome - there's even a bit of a twist in there !

You cant go wrong with one of these babies as an allrounder for the 78 - 87 kg rider looking to carry 5.7 - 4.5. Will carry more flat out speed control than an evo 74 but less drivey in the onshore. More speed and control , less boost and tweak out of the lip - but pretty darned good none the less. 05 vs 04 models are similar and new 04 can be bought at a great price at the moment.

Acid 80 is Based on Boards Scotty used to win the production worlds a few years back. Devastating onshore performance. Moving the Fin forward loosens this board right up - move the fin back for Margs and big lanno or you are going down the mine shaft for sure ! With the fin in the right place and some good timing a fat aerial is yours for sure !

A great jumping machine although a 74 is more comfy when you get into windy 4.7 weather.
