Someone has taken my Gladiator Board this arvo from the beach at the end of Cote d'Azur in Port Kennedy Perth WA.I left it there waiting for the wind to pick up and someone has walked off with it between 1500and1700.
It's got a weedfin and mast base attached.I think it was the 90litre version.
If anyone get's offered it for sale or has any info I'd love you to ring me on 0418927474.

If you have the serial numbers of the gear taken, i've herd that quite often the people who steal windsurfing gear, don't actually windsurf, and they have come up on the market either privately or through shops a while after.

I would keep your eye out everywhere.

Sorry to hear of the theft. Really hope it wasn't taken by a fellow sailor.

Yesterday arvo, I forgot to put my second board (2006 78 JP FSW) in the car, and instead left it sitting on the roof racks for 3 hours without even a tie down.

Didn't realise until I had returned from the water and saw it sitting there.

Wow

I'm even more amazed that the wind didn't blow it off (the roof)!!

Especially at Kyeemagh, if thats where you were sailing Harrow.
I left my car key in the car door while I was out sailing the other week. Didnt realise until I realised the pocket in my boardies was empty. mad scamble back to beach to find a mate had rescued it.

I once left a suitcase full of 1 million dollars on the bonnet of my car. Lucky my drug dealer called me to remind me how much I owed him
I hope you get your board back Wandi. I would buy you a new one but I owe too many people and my addiction is 500 a day
I will keep my blood shot eye out for your board though

Good advice FB.I had already posted 3 notes offering reward and"no questions asked"for returning my board, with my mobile number near where it was taken.Got a phone call tonight from a lady who had taken my board home and said she thought it had been washed up on the beach!!(Despite it being 40m up from the high tide mark and me only leaving it there for about an hr on a calm day) She dropped it off tonight. So I'm reallly stoked but Jeez some people can be a pain in the ass trying to do the right thing!! Thanks everybody!
ps I'm goin to write those serial numbers down anyway!!

I would suggest the womans son or daughter (teenager) thought it was a find and carted it home. My Nephews did something similar to some poor bastard at the local beach. Found has towel and car keys on the bench and brought them home.

Can you picture the poor prick?
