I had a quick check for previous postings on this but didn't come up with anything.

So, what brands of water resistant sunscreen can you get over here that you guys would recommend? Not that much call for it in the UK but Pro Sport was the best I came across.

I find the banana boat +30 in the black spray can is my fav. not as greasy as some of the lotion stuff and easily removed after your sesh. I only use sun screen on my face and the back of my hands, as the rest of me is covered. I'd rather be covered with a long sleeve rashie and shorty than cover myself in cream.

I use Bannana Boat 30+, Black tube. It is really thick, and doesnt rub in much.
I tried the spray, but find that anything that goes on easy, comes off easy too.

Zinc on my nose and ears, hat and long sleeve rash vest complete my emsemble.

Banana Boat does a product called Surf Sunscreen. It's SPF 30+ and non-greasy. I have used this the last couple of season and love it. It dries in quickly and you hand don't stay greasy.

The only problem is that it's hard to find. Not every chemist seems to stock it.

So are you better off going to the chemist for water resistant stuff or your local windsurf shop?

I use Banana Boat Sensitive

I find all other sunscreens when the water hits them and runs into my eyes seriously burns my eyes and leaves them sore and bloodshot for days.

I found the best stuff is from Amway call Sombrero. Its suncream but it sticks like zinc so you only need a little bit and it will stay on for hours, and i mean hours. Iv still has it on my face the next morning even after a good scrub in the shower the night before hand. Doesn't seem to run like suncream either so its nice on the eyes.
