i'm a north side lad myself and well you have to have a look around but narra, mona and i guess maybe palmy could be worth a go but on the eastern side i wouldn't want to give you dud info, though if it goes a bit west go to longy and i guess not even DY might work but can get a heavy break on occasions
The best way to check if dolls is working is to check if the manly ferrys running if its not running then move on to phase two are the news bulletins saying that a massive swell is battering the coast? if its a yes then phase 3 begins are there reports of tow in surfing happenig all across the northern beaches? If you answer yes to all these then dolls is working. Dolls needs a massive swell to work properly, if there is a bigger swell you will get a small wave there but nothing bigger than the wake of big Bayliner. So save it for the massive days when this place goes offff. Ive had most of my best sails there around easter time doesnt work much this time of year.
I drove past D. Point and by the look of it i could understand that it need big esternly swell. Did anyone managed to get out at Wanda yesterday when the arrows were green?? seems that I just got there too late.
