Was watching a bit of Fuel TV on Foxtel and what comes on??
A full half hour of the Dark Sides pro World Tour from Turkey.
Light winds and flat water but they milk it big time.
Heaps of chicks, sponsored by Jim Beam, lots of prize money etc.
How come they dont show any of the PWA stuff??
That last comp at Cabo Verde was full on, nothing.
World Cup Supercoss, good for excitement, nothing.
I hope windsurfing hant been cancelled

Yes I think windsurfing is a bit "old stuff" for some advertisers?

In the end it's about the experience of doing it, and the feeling you get from that, so no amount of tv coverage, will change my experience or the feeling I get.

The TV show here in WA was pretty good, it's great to watch your passion on TV.

If we want to grow the sport (And not everyone in wsurfing thinks that's a good idea), 2 things:

1. we need to get our kids, and lot's of other kids involved.

Was taeching my girl on the estuary 2 months ago and there were 3 kids with there granma of similar ages, and they all couldn't stop talking about my daughter on a windsurfer?? So what does that tell you about the potential of the sport!!!!!!!!!!!

2. we need to celebrate that lot's of people in there 30's 40's 50's and even 60's participate and love the sport. So it's a sport that really suits this middle age!!!! So what does that also tell you about the potential of the sport!!!!!!!!!!!

Look at the interest with this gps team challenge, that's just me mucking around on this windsurfing forum, wait to see what I might announce if this come off!!!!!!
