Hey Guys,

Has anyone out there been sailing Tabou for a while? What are their boards like for freestyle and wavesailing? Are they up to the standard of the other brands like JP fanatic and Naish?

Any onfo would be much appreciated!!!

got a friend who goes to maui every year and that's where he updates himself on the fastest and most appreciative boards and makes a point to try them all from wave to slalom and just recently told me he's dumping his boards for all tabou's

he was our speed champion last year bob on a tabou 69?59? somethin' like that and a vector fin..did 60+km/h in a mere 18-22kts. that even said just got rehabbed from a motor bike accident and could only sail on one side without rubbery legs..but but but...you know the next speed champ

Tabou's been around for ages and the shaper, Fabien Volenweider (may be mis-spelled) is very good, has been shaping for top sailors for decades!! A friend had a tabou waveboard that was sweet as, certainly up to the standard!
