Yep ,it looks like it will hit around midday still.Looks like it flipped the wind gauge at Newcastle with some 40 plus knot gusts.It may be a bit too south southeast for Currumbin but with enough wind should be interesting.
Probably a challenge to get past the first 50m but howling out the back.
South southeast could still be off shore.Maybe a bit of warmth during the day will kick it more east before 4pm.Could be fun...!
I want to see someone do a double forward- intentionally.

Pity it didn't come in as strong as I had hoped, at Currumbin at least.
