just like last year i set myself the challenge to shoot a mini doc about the race - and then race myself.
This is a good physical challenge as you burn up a lot of energy with the interviews - and i usually only just get rigged in time for the start.

Only this year it was a little more complicated as i had an event to shoot back in perth from 6pm - 9 pm on race day.

Got that all done and finally uploaded the edit at 12.45am Sunday morning - so technically i missed my deadline!

Thanks to everyone who let me stick a camera and a mic in your face. For those of you that havent done the event i hope this
makes you keen to take part next year.

The race ended up being quite windy - against all expectations - and with all my talk of tuning i spent a good half of the race bent out of shape on a 7.5 no cam!

So the last tuning tip is - nothing can replace good old TOW (time on water) and fitness.
