Hey Guys

I sailed both days at Somerton Park sailing up wind to Seacliff. The down wind run from Seacliff to Somerton is so much fun.

There is a guy over here in Adelaide who sails at Cactus, but I am sure the are more crew who live over on there like the guys from OES in Port Lincoln who travel up there to get some big pits.

I sailed at Cactus years ago before I ever went body boarding there. I remember I had one run out at Castles and my legs shook so much that I actually made my gybe cos there was no way I was gonna fall off. It was dark water, foamy and smelt like fish, I was really scared. So I decided to have one more run cos I wasnt going to let it beat me, same deal, legs shook like crazy but I made my gybe then I decided that I didnt have to prove anything to anyone and it wasnt worth the shakes. But since then I've been body boarding at Cactus (not for a coupla years now) and it wasnt TOO scary. Anyway there is sharks everywhere over here. Sellicks and Snapper point are just as sharky I think. Susie

SA scene seems to be building, just very spread out. People sailing at Boggy, Goolwa, Sellicks, Alldinga, Seacliff all the way up to Largs so you gotta travel to see everyone!

Where will the Boggy sailors go if there is no water? They might have to join us in the sea.

Yeah Boggy and Goolwa arnt loking great i don't think. Dad and i went for a drive along the coast a couple days ago looking for some places. Largs looked prity good. Sellics and Seacliff were good, i used to sail seacliff asa much younga fella but stopped because we cant be bothered hosing off all our gear after using it in the salt. In saying that we're looking for somewhere to sail along the Adelaide beaches, but also with a tap, so we can take a hose and hose all the gear off so we dont have to put it away all salty. Prity fussy i know but i like looking after the gear, then its easier to sell aswell. Dave can you help us out a bit here? I've also just bought another board yesterday, or swapped with a bloke, and am looking forward to trying that one out at some point now. I also much prefer sailing with other people aswell so where are the usual busy places along the beachs?

We could only wish it was windy, any bloody time of late over here
Think Haircut put it right on the speed forum, any size over a 6.0 meter sail, you need don't count as a seabreeze
