Just thought that I would start this thread to show my appreciation for all your help and support this year as well as wishing you all a happy Xmas.

I appreciate all the advice, tips and lessons, that you have all given me (including marriage counselling;))

Made some great friends here and learnt a hell of a lot at the same time about windsurfing.

Having just picked up the sport 12 months ago, I still have a long way to go, but its been an absolute blast and if it wasn't for this place I would have packed it in already.

Merry Xmas and Have a great new year!!!

+1..despite the overwhelm at so much advice & feeling sorry for woodduck who obviously finds me very irritating ..I've got a few friends who are thinking of getting back into the sport after 20 years or trying a short board for the first time so I've told them to post questions here.
My only regret is my wallet was a lot heavier before I realise I needed more than one mast, board and fin .
I just got my new 400 mast + smaller fin so bring on the 25kts ! The 4.2m should finally set properly! What am I going to be able to blame now if I can't blame my equipment..? Sure I'll find something..
Merry Xmas and may the season bring some new toys , plenty of the right kind of wind & an understanding other half!

Dear Friends
Wishing you relaxation and all the blessings and love of social reunions and family times together during this festive season (and time for a bit of sailing in good winds).

Same from me, you guys and girls all have a great Christmas and New year. Been great catching up with fellow windsurfers on our trip around Aus. Ones we only get to yarn too on Seabreeze and finalley was tops to put faces to names. Stay safe.

Very nice idea so here goes.
Thanks to all the guys/girls taking time answering my questions, probably for the 100th time. I found this to be the most helpful, friendly and open forums I've ever been on.

HAPPY CHRISTMAS AND NEW YEAR.
MAY ALL YOUR WISHES COME TRUE, MAY THE WINDS BLOW AND MAY YOU ALL HAVE THE TIME OF YOUR LIFES

Big thank you from me to everyone for stoking the fire.
It's easy to think you are part of a dying breed as a windsurfer, but this forum shows that there are more of us out than than it seems most of the time.
The enthusiasm shared here has brought a lot to my sailing time.
