We've just finished the 'off' season so soon we will be getting all the summer newbies with the same old questions, but they sometimes come up with some interseting topics.

Jesus, you must be kidding! I find almost every posting original, witty and informative.

Now please answer the following questions:
  • what length harness lines do you use?

  • is a seat harness better than a waist harness?

  • How do I stop spin-out?

  • Is windsurfing more hard/cool/expensive than kitesurfing?

  • What GPS should I buy?

  • Where should I live/work if I like windsurfing?

  • Can I cut my mast to make it shorter?

  • What is a good light wind wave board for a big guy?

  • Did you see this thing on eBay?

  • Are RDM better than Standard masts

  • I'm an average sailor, should I buy Wave, Crossover or Freeride sail?

  • If I weigh 97kgs, what size board should I buy?

  • Has the weather been strange lately?

  • Where can I sail in a westerly?

There are no boring questions, only boring answers

If knot board = yoda, then he would have written:

Boring questions there are not, only boring answers there are.

So we can conclude that knot board <> yoda and a slow day at work it is.

Did I mention that there is no spoon?

Board sailors shouldn't be bored sailors ... I genuinely believe I am the first person on earth to have thought of this witty little play on words

Hey, we need more smilies [}:)] -I'm having trouble expressing myself

I just ordered a chicken and salad roll for lunch and when I got back to the office I found they had given me mock chicken.

WTF is a mock chicken anyway?

Now I'm confused, wiki says:

Mock Chicken
It's a substitute for real chicken that can be made out of another type of meat or can be vegetarian.

I can assure you it was no substitute for real chicken!

Yes, but like everthing other than beef and lamb, I bet it tasted like chicken

You'd think so... but apparently if you make a conscious effort to replicate the taste of chicken the result is less than spectacular

LOL

My recollection of "mock chicken" was the more bland than bland (is that possible?) potato fritter.
Usually made on a Sunday night by your mum when she couldn't be bothered doing anything else, or you had nothing left in the pantry.

Filled you up, but the taste I guess it was supposed to look like a chicken breast

Why has society decided that only the humble chicken is fit for 'mocking'?

Have you ever heard of mock pork or mock tuna?

What's next mock beer?
Oh I forgot we have that, it's called VB

Radio Birdman? Are they still playing?? I usually avoid live music, but I would make an exception in their case...
