so the thursday wind forcast is looking good and since someone else has already posted about it i can now post.

i have been trying to figure out what the wind might be best.. and maybe thinking north of brisbane. not sure though.
so who is up for some waves.
it isn't really looking good for waves on the coast swellnet says:

Very small and weak 0.5’ surf building to 1-2’ by late in the day. Late, messy increase to 2-3’ possible at s-facing magnets. Fresh S/SE winds developing in the morn and then tending SE in the a’noon. Period of lighter SW winds possible early morn.

so i guess it will be a day of jumping. anyone know any spots on the sunny coast which might pick up that little bit of swell..

and where are you guys down the goldie thinking of heading?

Hi Haircut,

Went out at the train, wind was 12 gusting 15 at 1pm, slowly dropped to 10 gusting 12 by 5pm (although the seabreeze graphs think it was a lot higher for some reason...)
Probably half a dozen sailors out there, when I got planing the water next to the bar was as smooth as butter, but towards the end was slogging most of the time.

You didn't miss out on much.

Next Monday's looking good though

Yeah
1pm to 3pm at artificial reef narrowneck.
Had a big sail up but was planning most of the time .
Not bad...at least it was in the ocean.
No swell to speak of.

i think we should all move to cairns, i've been watching the wind up that way. (no i'm not a nerd)

20-25knots all day everyday with 21-25 Deg Cel temps. has been this way for the last 3 weeks...
